Hypothetically speaking I don't expect our direct competition to use us for a testing facility but I do not rule out the possibility either. My point is that if we have equipment that will test fibers at a new range of capabilities. Then we have equipment that will perform at a standard above all other equipment.

So for an analogy......Why do people bring flats tires to a tire shop. Because they have the equipment to solve their problem.

BAck to the testing equipment.

Lets say a new company called FutureFibers brings us a new fiber that needs tested ( not necessarily a spider silk fiber) and KBLB has the testing equipment that will test it (tire shop)

Now lets say we test the fiber for FutureFibers and the fiber falls short of their tensile strength expectations.

(Heres where the sales pitch comes into the picture)
Kim tells the customer that we have the ability to create the fiber with the exact characteristics which FutureFibers desires.

Here is where our ability to insert zinc finger technology to create any fiber characteristics desired come into play allowing our customers such as FutureFibers, who come to us for testing ( as a competitor) and leave as a NDA signed customer, just as we have been in our quest to become a world leader in the future of fibers.
