Any buyer will do their diligence not just on the unproven machine but the company as well. And they will want to see a company that is well-capitalized, has a full-time management team that is competent, an independent BOD, and a track record of delivering. They will absolutely take into account public filings or lack thereof and even issues with regulatory agencies. It goes directly to the competence and integrity of management.
Now announcing some hokey "sale" will be much simpler.
