I don't understand that at all
Flooding the ask would be counter productive
If I have a pile of shares I want to sell to you, I'm going to spoon feed them to you and squeeze higher prices outta ya

Are you making the argument, well, debt holders just don't think like traders... or what?

Please excuse my ignorance if I am missing something here
But it seems like it is just like this guy I use to know who loaned cash out to idiots ... he didn't want it back all at once, he wanted a lot more over some time

Like banks, they don't want you to pay your debt down, they want to collect interest forever if it is possible

I understand, well, debt holders want a quicker kill for their prey
But ... we're talking about a matter of a few more days to make a lot more money if they DON'T flood it all at once, aren't we?
