Now when it comes off suspension they will be forced to cover their shorts as you cannot short a stock on the grey sheets (please someone correct me if I am incorrect with evidence).

When they cover it will bump the stock.

Actually they don’t have to cover as they can let it drop to 0. However, that could tie up their profits until they do cover or the company stock is totally halted. That could take years. So it is smart to cover but there certainly is not going to be any hurry with approximately 1 Billion shares (that we know of) outstanding that most will be selling.

There is not always a bounce. With this many shares out this could just drop and continue to drop. Some will never be able to sell their shares. IMO

Some on this board keep comparing PHOT to CAN#. Prior to the suspension their volume was like 300+K a day. Yesterday the volume was in the 30K range. Used to be hundreds of posts on the board a day and yesterday I am not sure if there was 10. The point is it doesn’t matter what the price is if you can’t sell it.

Personally, I will have my sell order in long before the bell. Sometimes in this situation there is no later. JMHO
