The "bought out" theory would be hard for me to grasp. I was in high hopes of this in the spring of 2012. Phase III was more and more landing on store shelves. I drove to the places and confirmed it. That product was on the shelves of Ingles in NC, gas stations throughout SC, GA and AL. Also Piggly Wiggly in AL. Not to mention the Walgreen's distribution which started the whole Pump early 2012.
Also to add the fact that my wife and I have consumed almost 60 cases of this stuff. Not to support the company....because there is nothing better as a milk/meal replacement. My wife drinks it daily. There is no burnout.
So in late spring of 2012, I thought a buyout was possible. I tried to keep strong despite the known dilution that was going on to keep up with the accumulation debt of millions.
Time has passed. The Kroger distribution bombed. Also the above mentioned distibution agreements are gone. Phase III is only purchased at Amazon. No athletes are wearing the logo.
So I would have to assume that Phase III "failed the test market". Why would somebody with big pockets buy it now? Only thing I could think of is to "squash it". Reason being although it didn't sell well, "I know it is the best tasting". A good reason to squash it......is this. Phase III tastes great. But profit margin is poor as it is expensive to make. So if "big pockets" comes in with a cheaper version that people can afford, they want to squash the yummy one......not invest in it.
I wish the product well. I gave Roy my money. He knows it.
No....I don't see recent dilution. But....not sure what expense is there right now other than rent, salaries, etc. Only little product sells I presume...so not sure how much expense on product right now. Goodness....I mean the last filing shows Attitude Drinks Inc. being sued for rent money!
