All of the Silvermont Android designs are late which would seem to point to a software bottleneck.



An attempt to enable 64-bit support with Google, an attempt to ensure that all relevant apps are compatible with IA, or just plain continued difficulties with drivers/system software to work with Intel's platforms?

Intel claims that it has the largest staff of Android engineers in the world. While I realize that 1 great software developer is worth tens of mediocre ones, I would imagine that a company like Intel would have no problem attracting strong software talent (Intel's top-notch compilers are proof of this).
