Looking at it as a math projection: You have a 1 in 3 chance of being right:

BT THE END OF THIS YEAR, ODDS OF STOCK MOVEMENT:

UP = 33%

DOWN = 33%

UNCHANGED = 33% (add the value of 1 more to any of the 3 to come up with 100%)

When you take the 'hoping' and 'wishing' out of the equation, this is the true percentage chance of you being right. Short sellers of this stock also think THEY are right.
