I understand the potential and that's what's keeping me around. My issue is that there was an official launch that was postponed, then they come back by moving it to 4/20 (the perfect day), but their official launch is a 3 minute video and no change to a website.
Maybe I expected too much, but these "Hollywood producers" allowed for the release of something that felt like a satire with the air-quotes and the mocking of the attorney general (someone you probably want on your side in this fight). They're supposed to be promoting and supporting the marijuana community and I feel like if this SNL-esqe BS continues, "the CNN of the marijuana industry" is going to hurt the market rather than help it.
If you can't see any of my points, you are a blind optimist. I'm not saying the "launch" was terrible, the end of the world and all bad; I'm saying that the lack of professionalism from a company that wants to compare itself to CNN has me, "cautiously optimistic". I'm still pro-UTRM, but if 2, 3 & 4 weeks from now it still feels like I'm watching SNL's replacements of Seth Meyers, I'm out.
Like always, IMHO.
