Chuxster: I read your PM, I'm just replying to this post so you get notified about my response. I'm not subscribed to PM's so I can read them but not reply so I have to reply publicly.

As for your question; I use TDA (I have 2 accounts with them) and also have a Scottrade account as well. I use all three simultaneously for different purposes.
