Careful now. I assume you're referring as to whether there is validity in charting unlisted equities trading in the "pink sheets". In actuality, many fine foreign companies, regional transportation companies, and local banks continue to trade in this matter. Indeed, some of these firms are profitable entities that have little or no interest in receiving any attention in the markets. Many of these companies are tightly held and very rarely trade. Consequently, with a limited or no public following, charting, as a general rule, would serve little or no value. Nonetheless, the professionals are fully aware of these issues, and occasionally, a special situation does develop here. Thus, it is a different type of investment from the type that most traders and investors usually come in contact with. Consequently, buying in this type of company requires a great deal of patience, and much research on an investors part. Nonetheless, periodically some of these companies do indeed become special situations, and attract sponsorship. Thus, charting the above at that time, could indeed, become a very profitable undertaking. GLTU.
