Lets all remember the difference between A/S and O/S in making decisions, because without thought, a lot of people might dump at a loss. Thanks to some PVEC investors for helping me understand this:

A/S is shares authorized. This is the largest number.
Shares issued is a smaller number. It is the number of authorized shares issued to investors.
O/S, which is very important, is the number of issued shares that have NOT been bought back by the company. By nature, this is the smallest number if the company has bought back shares.

So... it is absolutely possible that the company can increase A/S for business reasons, but still be protecting investors by not issuing those shares to investors, and FURTHER protect investors by engaging in share buyback.

As someone noted, the company has stated that they MAY increase A/S, but not O/S.

A little research can put our minds at ease. IMO, the biggest reason for panic is because it is a non-trading Friday, and people are worried about worrying all weekend. ENJOY THE HOLIDAY!!!!!
