Daboss - From what I hear the Toshiba 1.8" HDD is less expensive as well as being a proven performer in the marketplace. I suppose it is possible for an OEM to choose the Hitachi drive for their own device but RP has said that as far as e.Digital is concerned the Toshiba drive makes the most sense.
