On this very subject my 14 yr old grandson & I had quite a discussion, not just same sex marriage or homosexuals, but started with this and turned to sin. I explained that we all sin, but we all do not continue to live in what we know is sin. If I am guilty of gossip and know I am wrong, yet continue down this destructive path...and I am making a conscience effort to disobey God's will and living continually in my sin, then I have no right to pass judgment, I am just as much a sinner as the next. Sort of sin is sin is sin....In today's world all this new age living stuff really is taking a toll on our young folks and a lot of churches are too concerned with hurting one's feelings rather than teaching the Bible....just saying.
I also noticed the Pope was brought up....He does carry a lot of weight, yet I "always" in discussion make mention of what my dad said to me yrs ago...."Me"...dad, the Pope was in our country and made the statement that is terrible that in a country as rich as the USA that we have people who were going hungry and children who needed shoes and I had to agree with him." "Dad"...Son you are right, but what gives him the right to come over here and tell us what we are doing wrong when he is sitting on millions and millions of dollars and refuses to spend any of it.." Smart ole man...lol...Might add that the Catholic administration has done "ABSOLUTE DAMAGE" to young Christian minds when the continually covered for perverted priest.....Jesus said we can tell them by their fruits, yet we choose to ignore the fruits because of one's high position in the chain of command...so to speak....
