I don't know the time frame for store build outs there but I do know that Chinese love jewelry and gold. I would wager that a lot of personal wealth is in gold also. It just seems logical for that type of business to do well in China. As the per capita income grows it's only logical that more disposable income will be put into buying jewelry. I don't think you see that same effect in the US/
