Far out of date? LOL so the political views of a political party especially on a subject like marijuana will change drastically over 1-2 year time span. Come on man, be practical, parties are formed by years and years of their principals, if they keep jumping around like a yo yo, than thier wouldn't be established parties, everyone would be independent LOL

And if your practical you’ll understand that IF and it’s a BIG IF, the liberals come in to power …it will 100% be a minority government. So with a minority liberal government (which they have to gain 35% of the vote and hope NDP and Conservative split the remainder) , they will need not only their own people to vote on legalization but also influence the conservative and NDP to vote legalization and from my own understanding the conservatives are adamant to keep it illegal (recreational wise) and so with the NDP with a condition to lax the penalties etc….

I agree in time maybe in time but not the NEAR FUTURE. And please if you keep looking at the positives of something also look at the negatives….MONEY MONEY to legalize it LOL again easier said than done…..do you know how much it will cost to legalize marijuana recreationally? Do you understand there are a good amount money needed to create policies and regulating this “legalization” do you understand there is a good percentage that believe that MJ is a pathway drug to other harder drugs. This isn’t the wild wild west…..there is so much to do in terms of legalization….In canada we have the benefit with our checks and balance not to go provincially go into huge amounts of debt like you see in some states to actually by pass everything without first thinking about it.
