From recent 10Q
"On February 4, 2014, four of the five drilling permits on the Rice lease expired. The Operator, VEP, initiated the process to renew the four expired permits. The process for obtaining permits may take 60 days or longer to obtain from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection."

From Xun Forum Response: Our Operator, Vencedor Energy Partners, initiated the process to renew/reapply for the permits for the oil well locations on the Rice lease on January 18, 2014.

From Xun Forum Response:Response: The renewal/reapplication procedure is a process. Best case is approximately 2 weeks from Feb 4th on or about Feb 15. Worst case could run up into April.
At the appropriate time, the Company will advise.

Kind of confusing on the dates? Which one is correct?
I guess we fall into the worst case scenario. LoL
I am seeing permits issued nonstop in Venango County on this website. http://alerts.skytruth.org/

From 10Q "THE COMPANY WILL NEED TO RAISE ADDITIONAL FUNDS TO DRILL THE OIL AND GAS WELLS AND THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT THE COMPANY WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IN RAISING THE FUNDS NECESSARY TO COMPLETE 1 OR ANY OF THE 30 OFFSET OIL AND GAS WELLS."
