Vid, I always appreciated your posts even when you were quite pessimistic right after the crash. I think just like you and have never shorted a stock as I personally believe that is against my definition of investing. For some, shorting is taking advantage of market mispricing, information asymmetry, bubble, etc... That is fine, I am not judging anyone but just don't call it investing, call it trading. If the funding issue gets resolved one way or another soon, Ariad's future is quite bright.
