I just don't get this. WTF? You must be far more astute than I. My mode is this: do the best DD I can with 'facts of today' then project forward what impact that will have [guess of what may happen in the future], and act accordingly. This has worked reasonably well for me over time. Not perfectly, obviously, but reasonable well. So yes, I guess I do exactly what you say:

So your assumptions are based on guesses of what may happen in the future rather than the facts of today. When did "feelings" become good dd?

Not sure how that equates feelings with dd.
