One more thing.

If/When Gander.TV expands to new cities, the killer move would be to not only add a mobile app, but to imbed its own simple social network.

The simple social network would be advertising free. Just the functionality for small groups of friends to share messages. Thereby creating an all in one streaming content (with ads), social network (without ads).

Bypass the need for Facebook/Twitter. Build our own base of tens of millions of users.

This move is better than being bought out, IMO. Of course, being bought out at the right price is okey dokey with me.
