I'm likely not the only reader of this forum who does not understand what your are stating.
Although this term seems to have a specific meaning to you, IMO it would be much more informative and participative in stock discussions if you would use widely familiar nomenclature that could be understood by all when reading your responses.
From what I gather, you use the term "word" to mean that you agree with a previous post. Most posters would likely better understand your responses if you replied with "I agree" rather than simply "word."

Then there was this response referring to, in a kind of roundabout way, Cassandra being an old schoolmarm

I am not aware of any breach of etiquette committed by roach4091's use of the word "word", according to your post Cassandra you seem to understand what roach4091 means when they replied with this response

Maybe it is the large generation gap between yourself and the more youthful posters you that you are really objecting to. I for one, as a poster to this forum don't mind roach4091's choice of response. I do not view it as harmful or hurtful in any way to anyone, I don't find it disgusting or repulsive, it was not deceitful or misleading, though it may seem repititive. I believe that for the reasons stated, that it is protected by the U.S. Constitution under a little thing called "Freedom of Speech". Maybe you could find a better way to spend your time rather than acting as a self appointed "schoolmarm" for this board. You have expressed your dislike for his posts containing this word, I am expressing my dislike for your post to him. Now, feel free as mod to delete this post, or bash me if you like. But I am willing to bet you don't have the guts to leave this post "as is" for all to read so that the posters here can decide for themselves who they agree with more, you - or roach4091.

P.P.S. It would truly be awful if all posters who agree w/ roach4091 were to make a post w/ a one word response - WORD
