Re. CAS latency register

We've pretty much beat this thing around. Just to tie up some loose ends.

The point made by Whyte was not what they called the register, but the thing that was stored in it

This is exactly my view. That's why I previously stated Stkhwk analysis was iffy. Whyte is concerned with the contents of the register. There's a subtle difference between Rambus' expert explanation and the actual operation of Hynix's CAS latency register. Hence DOE not allowed.

I don't believe Stkhwk addressed the discrepancy in register content. That is the real issue. But perhaps he did in a later post.

We'll see how it plays out in court. It may not be as bad as our first impression.
