My point was GKG is better as a dedicated energy crop then waste. If you have to truck the waate from farms far away over infrastructure that is not that good, it may not be that cost effective.



The article Rod linked, and the article about VSPC in Biomass Mag said the same thing......essentially. Waste can and is being used for energy and there seems to be adequate supply.

DP knows all about GKG and they use corn stover and other waste, not so-called dedicated sources.

I realize that has been Karl's argument but no one seems to buy it. Tibbar may, but they don't have a plant yet.

I have always asked why........IF WHAT KARL CLAIMS IS TRUE......why doesn't VSPC go and plant GKG where a shortage of supply exist and open for bidness?

They claimed plants were shutting down because supply was seasonal, right?

If there is a demand......meet the demand with supply.

This isn't "rocket surgery".
