No potential investor would like to see almost no volume in a stock.

I would typically like to see above average volume with higher highs each day.

Beyond that I would like to see consolidation at this price with above average volume.

A couple hundred thousand shares could cause a 20% change in the price, in either direction.

Stocks that do not trade, scare some investors as it could be hard to get in and out of positions.

I have never seen any scenario where no volume is considered a good thing.
