The VRNG options have huge spreads between the bid and the ask.

January 2016 $4.00 calls are Bid of $1.01 (499) and a Ask of $1.54 (341)

January 2015 $4.00 calls are Bid of $0.78 (1,009) and a Ask of $0.99 (863)

That tells me there are buyers but no one is selling.
