Not that this is a sign that Covidien is buying Titan, but it is a sign that Covidien is getting into the game with products that support robotic and laparoscopic procedures. Within the past few weeks they released a product that is used for trendelenburg positioning, which is used mainly in gyn/uro laparoscopy or robotics. I was at a tradeshow last week, and at the Covidien booth this product was on full display with a very large presence.
