Cracks me up. What do people think a fledgling startup company with an actual product does for funding? Any guess as to how much actual cash all these shares have generated over the time in question? Whether sold outright or to secure loans wherever you might be able to get them. Do you think making jewelry is a cheap process? I don't know, maybe Berge is a snake in the grass. Here's the thing for me. Failing to achieve financial goals the last five years in what has been arguably the toughest business climate ever, is a pretty common thing. Most businesses think that if they still have the lights on then they are succeeding. As a small business owner myself, that's the way I see it. I'm sure some examples will be given but don't confuse unrealized goals with outright lying.
