From olive oil to soda, medical marijuana is turning up in all sorts of food items called Medibles. These products deliver the benefits of medical marijuana without striking a match.

Patients consumes these Medibles as part of there treatment for chronic pain and other medical conditions.

Cheryl Shuman is a cancer patient, medibles have become a part of her daily diet.

"The great thing about cannabis is that anything that you can make with olive oils, truffle oil, coconut oil or butter you can make with cannabis. Chicken piccata, lasagnas, penne pasta, Fettuccine Alfredo with fresh broccoli," says Shuman.

Doctors say it is important to remember that these food are medicines and should be kept out of the reach of children.
