Great point...My first SPLI purchase was in February...I will be holding for at least 1 year and 1 day so I will be qualified for receiving Long Term Capital Gains tax advantages. Why sell early and have to pay major high taxes, plus I anticipate that the SP should be much higher this time next year (9 months to go in my case now...next February 8th will be my 1 year and 1 day hold date for great SPLI tax breaks).
