I have been holding, and reinvesting dividends in GE for a long time. And, I will continue to hold and accumulate more shares through DRIP. Also agree that Emerging Markets are coming back very strong, and this should help GE. In fact, I pulled up my 401(K) on-line today to check and see where everything stood after the last 2 days of selloff, and my Emerging Markets fund through Wells Fargo has outperformed every other category since January. Of course, it would have looked different prior to the last 2 trading sessions. Point being, emerging markets have roared back this year, and I left mine at 18% (re-balanced earlier this year) based on the Buffett maxim that you want to be buying when there is blood in the streets. Well above 18% now.
