they have techniques now which they call "pair bonding" to double speeds or double the distances it can work. 50mbps now is not an issue, 25 for internet, 25 for tv - they can divide it any way. 100mbps isn't too far now either.... Im not too sure how the box itself works but I have a lot of nerds that work around me who can answer those kinds of questions for me If I get them on the case...lol
