Right on! The Army through SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) program has awarded over $1.3 Million to AFTC for the Phase 1 and phase 2 development of a JP-8 high pressure common rail fuel delivery system.

I have previously posted an email i received in response to an inquiry to the SBIR PMO regarding the status of the Phase 2 summary report and was informed that AFTC has been selected and are in negotiations.

That would be Phase 3, commercialization. More information about the Phase 3 process can be see in this brochure
