Geez Nic - I think you're starting to sound a little "Al Gorish" - next thing you know, you'll be claiming you invented RAM and that Farmwald / Horrowitz actually stole their revolutionary ideas from you!

LOL - fair enough, but I think it just kind of humorous that people on message boards, who know nothing about the others on the other end, will make pronouncements about said persons: a) income; b) technical education; c) legal education; d) employment status...etc., etc. You will note that I don't "attack" his credentials just because I don't find an analysis convincing. A certain multibillionaire wouldn't back up his mouth last year if you will recall when I challenged him to a bet on my credentials. I don't feel compelled to share my private life with the rest of the world, because it proves nothing and won't turn doubters into believers, and the people I know value my stuff don't care.

With Cal, he provides enough real value and fair discussion that I don't mind offering him a chance to verify my pedigree. Its easy enough to prove, as I said, and I can point him directly to one extremely complex and high profile case I was involved in to demonstrate the design around principle in action. I can also point out to him several patents where I am a named inventor in hardware/software if he harbors continuing doubts about my technical education. I wonder if some of the technical geniuses here have had such recognition....

In any event "Cal" apparently finds that such a challenge to his "domain" or understanding of this field that he prefers instead to try and attack my character. But Da Greek harbors no grudge, and the offer remains - in a private capacity - because even listing the areas where Da Greek has particular expertise will identify him in a second to persons in this field who frequent this board and don't have such honorable intentions.
