"Bilingual Customer Service Technician

American Performance Technologies, home of Motovox, is looking to add new a new Bilingual Customer Service Associate to our call center team. We are a creative, innovative power sports company located in Kansas City, MO. Our new Customer Service Associates are the point of contact for many of our customers who are looking to ask technical questions about our product. American Performance Technologies is a fast growing company that focuses on innovation and design. There is excellent room for growth for those that excel. We are looking for someone who has the drive and passion to bring out the best in themselves and in our company.
The essential functions of this position are:

Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the complaint, determining the cause of the problem and then selecting and explaining the best solution
Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions
Understands the working parts of the products in detail
Properly identify technical issues of products over the phone by description of the customer
Assists customers over the phone in suggesting repair methods
Suggests additional information to customers about other products and services
Conducts research on internal documentations to provide solutions
Documents processes and procedures
Collects and analyzes customer information and produces reports on products and services
Creates and distributes summary reports as requested
Recommends potential products and services to management based on customer needs
Works with other departments to locate information to resolve customer issues
Our new team member for this position will have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years’ experience in a customer service position, or suitable combination of education and relevant experience. The ability to technically assist customers over the phone with engine or design functions of our product is required. Written and verbal communication skills should be concise and effective, and you should aspire to excellence in both work and customer service. All of our employees are expected to exhibit exemplary customer service skills, both with external customers, vendors, visitors, co-workers, and management staff.
