Doesn't mean it will tag that... or even stop there should that happen - It's just the number associated with the gap which is worth keeping an eye on.

They base their numbers on high of one day vs low on next on a gap up, and the opposite on a gap down (low of one day vs high of next)

I use the same rule ... so I find convenience in using their site. It's keeps it simple for me rather than pulling up nasdaq history to find that specific number.

I have followed and tracked gaps (4 kinds) for as long as I can remember. They intrigue me.
