Wow! I can see that happening. The effects from edibles can be much more stronger and lasting than smoking flowers. The pot cookies that I make can make you stoned for more than 24 hours! It's like boarding a time traveling machine. Sometimes 48 hours depending on how many bites you munch off my cookie. IMO the guy probably had limited mental capacity to handle with mind altering substances. Again IMO, gravity is the chief cause of death not cannabis itself. It could easily happen to a really drunk person too.
