I Spoke With Roger Glenn

I called Roger Glenn’s NY number about an hour ago, and much to my amazement, he answered the phone. I want to reprise the conversation to the best of my memory, and hopefully it will be as accurate as I can make it.

First, when I asked him questions, he never answered any, but I know he listened intently, did not hurry me at all, and politely wished me a nice day when I rang off.

I told him I was an very experienced investor in early stage, high risk, high leverage mining companies in everything from gold to commodities to coal to other diamond companies, and have owned several hundred of them.

Then I said the lack of any information such as whether we are drilling at all, lack of share structure, etc., was not typical at all of the mining industry even for the most speculative companies. I also told him that I expected that most of the spec companies I invested in would not make it, but my decisions were made on whether to take the loss or hang in, depended on timely information, such as core reports, management changes or even political instability where I was investing.

I also told him than even for a pink sheet company, everyone connected to it had a financial, fiduciary, and even ethical responsibility to give out information germane to the investment in a timely fashion, and in regard to CMKX, we were long past timely. Then I told him I was surprised that he went to Ecuador, which meant to me he was not functioning as a lawyer at the end of the phone, but as someone involved centrally to business decisions.

I told him I thought there might be over 50,000 CMKX investors and few would understand or not act on anything going wrong with their CMKX investment where the giving out of timely information would have been important, and that would apply to him and his law firm. I am certain I never meant this as a threat, so much as a reminder.

Finally I asked him why a man of his reputation and the fine reputation of his firm would even get involved with a stock like CMKX? I then said something like that the only assurance I felt in still holding CMKX was because I was sure he understood his responsibility and that of his law firm.

I want to repeat again he never said a word during all of this, but I know he did listen to me. What do I take away from all of this? As usual I don’t know what is going on, but I am absolutely certain he understands what could occur if something went wrong.
