re: DNDN Walldiver, aiming, et al
Yes, Mule's conflicts were related to the cord blood meeting the day after the Provenge meeting.
Aiming, yes hedge fund managers may be very short sighted, but they were correct in betting against immediate full approval by the FDA based on a limited data set.
The DNDN LONGS ARE EVEN MORE SHORT SIGHTED WHEN THEY MAKE THREATS AGAINST PEOPLE WILLING TO LOOK AT THE DATA. Who in their right mind would want to study a disease or evaluate the results if you have to be escorted by a security service to and from a major clinical conference (ASCO) where you could learn more about a treatment for a disease? If these people cannot go to a major conference directly related to cancer and get immediate feedback from people directly involved in treating cancer patients, what is the point?
Set up a clinic in Mexico with no regulation and charge patients through the nose to treat them if you want. Do not make threats against those who want to see more data.
The FDA did NOT say NO, they said give us more data. Big difference.
