Why delay a PR? They announced the web cast via a shareholder alert last week. If they has a material announcement why delay it? Just put it out in a PR, which meets the requirements of Reg FD and reaches a larger population than the e-mail list.

Those who have been around EDIG a long time know that EDIG does not use web casts as a way to announce new deals. Press Releases are far more effective and are historically used 100% of the time to announce news.

Although e.Digital does not have a history of using unscheduled web casts to announce material positive news, it DOES have a history of using this tactic to spin negative news. The March O3 web cast (see #msg-860012) was primarily to spin the negative news of the resignation of Ernst & Young as the independent auditors. There was no unknown "news" presented. Tomorrow's webcast may be similar.
