To answer your question I was in the Navy. Joined in '68 got out in '74. My draft number was 365. Although several of my college friends joined the Air Force, Marines, and Army I can't answer for them. College wasn't working so we left at various times. The Navy is a tradition in my family so I joined. My ship was in Hong Kong in '71 or '72 and we had already tied up to a bouy in the habour. I was standing on the O1 level watching a sister ship from another squadron tie up to us. I was looking for a fellow sonarman I knew was on the ship I knew from sonar school in Key West. When I looked down and on deck was my college room mate who I didn't even know was in the Navy! Small world sometimes. From Ohio to Key West to Hong Kong. We had a good time BTW.
