Hi nsp ... nice to see you're safe and sound ... about Bema Gold (BGO-TSX)-- yeah, I can be a real pump-machine when I see something I like ... just last week on RobTv, John Embry (Sprott Securities) was saying that he was chatting with one of Bema's geologist who saying that their Kupol operation (in Russia) is finest exploration project on the planet. Have you seen the drill hole data?

http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/030702/25277_1.html

Note the consistency ... this project is everything Southwestern Resources isn't ... and to think these were the first 16 holes of a 120 hole drill program? I've seen reserves estimates that put this project in the 10MOZ range.

The one knock that was always against Bema was its lack of gold reserves ... before the South African acquisition all they had on the books was about a 1MOZ (from Julietta, which they're mining it at an average of 25 g/t) ... here's where I originally liked Bema's leverage -- a consistently higher gold price (higher than $325) puts Refugio back online and by doing that-- it will triple their reserve base. A person could still pound the table to buy this stock for that reason alone.

Another gold stock I really like and it's an explorer that's in your own backward and that's NovaGold (NRI-TSX) they control 12MOZ of gold #msg-1125944 I've added more since that original post and it's actually my second biggest position behind Bema Gold.

Another high-risk bet is Gabriel Resources (GBU-TSX) ** #msg-1093967 -- #msg-1101556 -- #msg-1191965 ** which is still super cheap at these levels and then there's always Eldorado Gold (ELD-TSX) -- a perpetual favourite of mine.

As for an entry point into the gold patch ... we've both seen the relationship between gold and the euro ** see #msg-1207975 and #msg-1216556 ** did they finally find a bottom??? My only real concern is the issue of seasonality ** see #msg-666649 **

Have you seen this Gold-Eagle editorial?

POG $425 by October 10?

Knowing that you do study Elliot Wave Theory-- I'd be interested in getting your opinion on these charts.
