yup, they've certainly changed the dynamics of the tour--
It seems this doping problem is with GC type riders. I haven't seen any one-day specialists, sprinters or "pure" climbers on the list.
...so the dynamics certainly have changed...!
I suspect with T-Mobile you'll see Kloden as their GC replacement-- possibly Julich for CSC
-- which really widens the opportunities for the Americans GC contenders like Leipheimer and Landis ... with Discovery I'm highly doubtful about Hincapie, but it does favour the likes of Savodelli

-- my favourite rider (now that this has occured) is Gilberto Simoni. He came in 3rd at the Giro, his reason for not winning was that he claimed the first and second place finishers were "extraterrestrial."
Oddly enough, first and second place finishers were on the list and now have been suspended. Wouldn't it be a kick in the pants if he were awarded the prise due to the suspensions...?
I guess he wasn't just belly-aching...
