Profile Badges Explained

Premium Membership

Premium Membership. A member who has purchased a membership and has access to all of the site's features, including the ability to reply to Private Messages you send them.

Grandfathered

Grandfathered. A person who is a heritage member of the site (User# <= 8600). Like a Premium Member, they have access to all features, including the ability to reply to Private Message

Free

Free/Registered Member A person who is a member of the site but hasn't purchased a Premium Membership, so their daily public posts are limited and they can't reply to Private Messages.

Free Trial Member

Free Trial Member A person who is a member of the site and is on a Free 2 Week Trial Premium Membership. They're getting a taste of the sweet life of a Premium Member, so they have access to all of the site's features, including the ability to reply to Private Messages you send them.

Jailed

Incarcerated or Time-Out Member A person who is a member of the site but has their posting privileges temporarily suspended for violation of the site's rules. They can't respond to Private Messages.

Terminated

Terminated A person whose account has been terminated. Usually, because of the way they've conducted themselves or because they've used multiple accounts. Less often, because they requested their account to nbe closed. They can't respond to Private Messages because they can't even log in.

Non-validated Member

Non-validated Member This is someone who has registered with iHub but has not yet clicked the validation link in the email sent to their registered email address. They can post only on the Jail board and can send PMs to site Admins.

Ribbon A friend of iHub who has passed away.

Site Admin 1

Site Admin The people who handle day-to-day issues regarding use of the iHub site and all matters relating to our Terms of Use. Babies cry at the sight of them.

Geek/Admin

Geek/Admin Geek/Support. The folks who do programming, systems administration and other support functions.
