Waite,
You asked for it, I delivered. Sorry about the mix of Irish and Swede that had to be endured!!!!
RJ
Al,
'I actually hope FASC succeeds despite BN'
Unbelievable. I may not have agreed with the way Cal and Brian have done things over the years,I even argued with them. Cals talent was pumping, Brians is building. If you think FASC would be around without Brian, it shows that you have done absolutely no DD. And I am not going to be the one to post all the information to prove it. I already know and do not need to prove anything and I am not going to.
FASC may survive or not. I do not know, but I know this, Mainland and Brian's money is keeping the doors open. My money is gone, swapped with other investors to ride out the gamble just as any other share holder. I have asked Brian to do his best to save my investment. I could care less about pumping silly PR's. When its time, then, Pump Away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only if it is true.
My thoughts,
RJ
Trout,
I used to go to Anna Marie two or three times a year. I cannot do it that often anymore. My Uncle that lived in Bradenton passed away. I was down there to clean up details. I gave the house and car to my uncles care taker. Kinda of a "Waite" sorta thing.
That is the second house I have inherited that I gave away. I gave one away in the Detroit Suburbs several years ago. Donated it to a local neighborhood church. I did not know anyone there, but it seemed right at the time.
My uncle was an 80 year old quad. Lived that way since he was 24 years old.
I'll probably be down next winter. I was there twice this last year.
I enjoy fish dinner on Holmes beach. I have to go to Millers in Bradenton for my FASC Strawberry pie Summit desert!
RJ
Trout,
My thinking is that Lakson has the incentive to see us succeed do to the Powder burner being Simo's and his burner needs the KDS.
Add the misc. other items in the fire, we should have gradual growth. I do not see "expotential" I do see future growth for those of us that can afford to hang in there.
My take,
RJ
PS. I was kayaking in your back yard at spring break. Anne Marie from the Coast Guard station. Beautiful area
Waite,
Most of us here are disappointed in the lack of news, Pr's and guidance, but accepting the fact that we may not get them should not mean we are defenders of Brian, he is a big boy, nor should our looking for news on our own, be an invitation for harassment.
We should have the ability to search for and share DD with out personal attacks for our thoughts. After all its "our" investment.
I lose, I win, its my business to do so.
Example: I do not always agree with TR, that is well known to anyone who has been around here very long. I do value his opinions and input.
Google "Value"!
RJ
PS. Do not insult the strawberry pie. No pie, no summit.
Waite,
My take on it is this; When the Bio projects suffer for financing and market development issues, we suffer also. I believe we are in for a long gradual growth situation. I do not believe there will be the Cisco growth that was discussed a while back.
There are a lot of grinders out there that cost much less than the KDS. They may not be very good, but they do not need to be. If standards were increased then we would be looked at. The KDS fits a niche market. Powder burners due to our ability to be better than a 400 screen, and pathogen reduction. These are two items the competition can not do. Grinding for pellets does not warrant a KDS except for certain conditions.
My take,
RJ
PS. Oh I forgot Go FASC!!!!!
Waite,
I may be better at going to school than nursing. Maybe I will just keep studying until I retire!
...about that FASC strawberry pie summit?
RJ
TR,
FASC received only the deposits on the two machines built and one was shipped. FASC is still trying to get paid for these machines. Brian will no longer ship until paid in full. If we had been paid in full, FASC would be current with filings. Mainland Machine is carrying the financial injury at this time and "they" told me that they think the world of Brian. I was also told by the person on the phone that he is a FASC shareholder. Put two and two together.
RJ
Hi TR,
Coming third hand, QL is trying to beef up their market before adding more KDS lines. Because they will not be doing it one KDS at a time but in pairs or three's they need to make sure the market supports the investment at time of installation. We are on the way, but not there.
....slightly behind their anticipated goals.
Hope that helps,
RJ
Hi Net,
I am sorry, I thought I followed up on it a while ago.
Brian said that Simo and Jean are working on two leads in Quebec, but no deposits towards a sale yet.
Simo has not sent in the deposit for St. Malo yet either. Brian said Simo says it will come. Brian says to Simo, sooner is better than later.
RJ
Sun,
It is amazing that you even criticize Brian. Once again, Brian and you agree in so many ways.
You shared here that Brian should not PR until he is compliant. Brian shared the same thing.
You said "if success arrives". That also is what Brian said. He is struggling to make it happen.
He did qualify that he "does not count anything positive until the money is in the bank." That sounds like something you would say.
I guess that is why he said "hang in there". I am sure he know not to hang in there would mean selling to .0001 for most of us larger shareholders.
Just riding the wave! and accepting the High points as well as the low ones. None of us, including Brian know for sure what is going to happen. With my business as well as others, you can only project out so far.
RJ
Hi Al,
I do not understand the silly "your Pal" and "kool aid" talk. As far as "non complying" "illiguid stock", I am sure Brian does not like it either. It takes cash to pay the bills.
When I have had criticism of the company, I stated my differences. I just do it different.
I am not trying to sell you anything, I have not purchased shares in a very long time myself. I do enjoy sharing what I can find out and being shared with. If you do not feel comfortable in this environment, then I suggest you do something about it other than worry about us other posters.
This sight is about FASC, not me and the other posters.
RJ
Waite,
I am thinking that 3 or 4 cents a share may be a little short sighted. I do not believe that Brian would be hanging on if he did not see a reason to.
After talking to Brian yesterday, he shared how difficult the last 18 months have been, but if things go as various customers claim, he should have some sales coming soon. When he does have sales and cash flow, he will get us current. He did qualify that he does not count anything positive until the money is in the bank. He gambled on two sales and still has not been paid. That will not happen again.
Brian did confirm that Simo is working on a couple sales in Quebec, but they are not finalized. He said that things can drag out for a long time.
Brian said he wished he could share more, but just hang in there.
On a separate note, a few months ago Adam shared with me that some shareholders have gotten very threatening. I would like to state that the threats are very misplaced and inappropriate. Even if a person does not agree with how Brian does things, I do not believe anyone else would have hung on so long.
I am not in defense of how Brian has ran the company, I would do things differently, on that note, it does not make me right. There are things about the company we do not know from the outside.
RJ
TR,
We need to be careful about letting the PPS go to high, we hate to loose "Charlies" comradery here.
He has always said he looks forward to saying "cheers", I think that is Boston for sayonara, adios, do widzenia...oh you know what I mean?
We better tank this stock, we do not want to loose him. but if we do, we'll still have good ole Sam ! still holdin'!!!!!
RJ
PS. My 80 thousand dollar FASC friendship club!!!
Hope I'm still married when this is all done?
Sam,
Is that Charlie letting those shares go so cheap!?!
I know you and Waite were waiting for the price to drop some more before cornering the market, but.....as rumors go....
RJ
Charlie,
"could not care less". wink
Soon to celebrate with a FASC "Strawberry" pie!
RJ
Al,
" I wonder when/if we find out why, and from who???
Thats my kind of thinkin'!
RJ
Waite,
I need a new prescription of those FASC happy pills!
RJ
PS. Do you live in the same place? I will pick the pills up personally! Don't mail.
TR,
I bought a bunch of those shares in April 2006!!!!!
RJ
Net,
Simo has a dust burner
RJ
Net,
I am believing that could be why Brian is hanging on.
He has had a lot of disappointments. I will call Adam this evening and ask about your video request.
RJ
Al,
Don't listen to me. I am just visiting among friends? Net at the moment. You are welcome, if "you" desire it to be so.
We all have lost money here. Lunatizing is getting my money's worth. My 80K has a lot of lunatizing to do!!!!!!!!!!
......please do not tell the wife...she thinks its only 50K, and that hit hurt bad enough.
RJ
Charlie,
I was thinking with your being an engineer, you should pick up a KDS and powder burner for demonstrations and sales in the Boston area. Just take it out of your wife's allowance. I am sure with all the potential she would not mind!!!
Don't forget to duck!, I had to with mine, however I was a little slow.
RJ
Hi Net,
You gave me the idea to call Adam. He is waiting for the rain to stop so he can do a demonstration. He also has to mill up 10 ton of powder for Lakson. No recent deposits. He does have folks he is working with but cannot share details at this time.
Sorry I could not help more. I do not feel comfortable pushing Adam beyond what he can legally share.
RJ
Al,
"You are very accepting of a CEO that fails to perform his duties."
I do not see where you keep coming up with this stuff. I deal with the hand dealt to me and take responsibility for my own investments.
What part of my "fantasizing and lunatizing" do you not understand?
Be at peace,
RJ
PS. Whether I agree with Brian or not, I do believe he is doing
what he thinks is best.
TR,
Unless I did not spend enough time looking over Lakson's website, I did not see where they highlight specialized equipment. I do see where they are trying to market processes. Maybe that is better for their own purposes?
RJ
Hi Al,
"it is a MOOT POINT"
Is there a moot point somewhere between fantasizing and lunatizing?
I think we each make our own choices?
RJ
Hi Sam,
If... we were to finally see some certain small growth in KDS sales over the next year, giving us a small increase to say..approx. $3.00 per share, would we have time to forgive and thank Brian?
if....?
I'm right her holdin' with ya!
RJ
PS. This is not a prediction or a rumor, it is called something between fantasizing and lunatizing?
Net,
I think Simo is looking for one more investor for St. Malo. Things are more expensive than originally planned. Brian has been making dust samples for Simo's dust burner.
RJ
Al,
We need Mr Nichols more than he needs us. If it was not for Mainland Machinery our main Manufacturer and Mr. Brian Nichols paying the bills we would be gone.
Brian can not PR until SEC is up to date. Then he needs something solid to PR.
But you already knew that.
Sun as well as someone else here shared that with us.
It is what it is, and I don't like things either. This is my understanding of the situation.
RJ
To all you FASCers'
I want to share with you that it is my opinion, (as well as confirmation due to my inquiring), that we can thank Brian and Mainland Machinery that we are still in existence.
They must believe that they have up and coming potential to continue to carry FASC. I do know that in spite of finding it difficult to get details from Brian, he seems more upbeat than he did a few months ago.
I am unable to get anything of information from him other than direct questions answered. If I do not already know something for him to confirm, he is not dishing out!
RJ
Fasctrack,
I know that you did not ask me, however because I inquired the same of Brian not long ago...the visit change was at least partially due to FASC's current financial circumstances and the meeting was basically continued talks and progress that pertains to a PR approx three years ago. I asked Brian if we had to fear their stealing FASC's technology? He said he trusted the people he is working with.
The China connection I am referring to is the Hong Kong PR. I am assuming that that may be the same as you are referring to?
If not, forgive me,
RJ
Hi Fasctrack,
I am not in difference to Nets or TR's posts about QL resources. However the money does not precede success, but follows it. I am assuming that if Brian changed his mind about not putting anymore money in FASC as he previously told me and now is doing so, he must be looking forward also.
Brian also has been discouraged about delays everywhere. He said he keeps getting excuses.
RJ
Hi Sun,
As you know due to a previous conversation I had with you, that Brian's attorney gave him that same advice. Which is not to do a PR until he has returned to the SEC full graces!
Brian has learned a hard lesson, that is not to deliver a machine until paid in full!
Brian is currently operating FASC on his own dime. FASC has no money until machines are paid for.
RJ
TR,
Engineering and Marketing staff would enhance efforts by distributors.
When I was a Sport flooring dealer there was both Technical and Marketing staff available to me by the Manufacturer. We attended many industry conventions such as Administrative and Athletic functions together. It accounted for a large part of products being specified for projects by School and other institutional engineers and architects.
RJ
TR,
I think like you do that it is all about Sales. How-ever affording a staff would help us a long way there.
It may be time to do something to clean up the books and market ourselves to another larger concern before patents loose their value and the KDS its shine.
RJ
Net,
The balance sheet issue is one I had with both Brian and Cal years ago. Their belief at that time was that Sales would make that a non issue. The problem is now that the multiple sales avenues never came to fruition.
RJ
Net,
You could call Brian and discuss Idea's. He is very open to serious positive ideas. How-ever he is old school and does not hold well to sarcasm.
I would lend an ear to several ideas.
RJ
TR,
You know me, Just having some FASC fun.
Will you want pics of the Fish dinner or a KDS Machine
at Mainland Machinery, being Manufactured for ________.
JR
Waite,
I am having a fish dinner with Adam and Brian at Kelly's husband's restaurant in August.
The question is this.....do I pay? or do I let FASC pay? for the dinner !!!!!!!!!!
The next question is this, if FASC is not in Business at the time? Do I cancel the dinner due to my being broke? or..
I guess the answer may be one of two options; 1st - do dishes to pay for my dinner or 2nd - ask Brian to teach me to fish?!!!
RJ
PS. It is funny for all the fear here (me included) not many
seem to want to let go of their shares. I am concluding that
people have confidence in Brian's stubbornness to pull us out.
