Anyone shorting this one now is absolutely crazy.
Great post Shiloh. Thanks. I did not realize they were in talks with L3 since 2008. I guess L3 was waiting to watch how successful ISC was. Very successful I would say is an understatement at this juncture!!
Oh that would be real smart at this point to sell in May and go away. While you are away there's a very good chance that Implant Sciences will be acquired at a very nice price.
Waiting now for TR to say what difference does a DHS award make! Very nice recognition from the most high-profile customer in the world. Congrats to the IMSC team and to all of us who have stood behind them in support.
Australia is not a bad place for a honeymoon :)
True, and you do not find this scenario very often in the markets.
Absolutely correct. And companies do not take lightly what they bring into their booth to show. Because it can also impact other or future partnerships and existing strategy with various companies.
That press release is absolutely not stating anything about an acquisition. It's simply a partnership in a booth at a tradeshow. But of course it's a good sign!! Or should I say a great sign!
And a brand transition. Most companies do it like this "Implant Sciences an L3 company" and after six months to a year, the acquisition name usually rolls into the main brand.
I think you meant to say several 4 cent moves in the up direction for the next several days is coming.
Thanks for posting the facts.
How many investors buy pink sheet stocks, not many. How many funds buy stocks under five dollars or pink sheet stocks, not many. The company has had very little exposure for the past several years, it could've gotten at least some exposure via the Yahoo message board. How many small companies have been hurt over the past several years by naked shorting, numerous, and many of them have had to go out of business. In any case much brighter days are ahead for Implant Sciences. And one last thing, how many pink sheet stocks have the team, the patents, the certifications, and the record wins in the industry, as well as awards that this company has. This is not a typical pink sheet stock, but nobody knows about them.
What good has it done them the past few years? For one keeping their stock price down has not allowed the Company to do a secondary at a favorable stock price or get onto the NASDAQ. So they've had to stay on the pink sheets which is a wonderful exchange isn't it. Protesting the bid kept them from shipping to the TSA for a year or more while they accumulated even more debt. And shutting down the Yahoo message board meant that anyone who wanted to check out information on the company was only seeing negative info and therefore not buying the stock and keeping the stock price down with minimal buyers out there. It could've been the competition, naked shorts, or a combination of both. But the fact is that there of been numerous people that of having agenda against this company for the past several years. This company that is only looking to protect us from the evils of the world.
Yes, and how are those people going to feel that sold the afternoon before the deal is announced.
So true. And 10 or 15 years ago if you said there be a computer inside a phone more powerful than what we sent to the moon what do you think people said. And that that phone would be small enough and wide enough to fit inside your pocket.
That is also the reason the share price should not drop much below this point. If anything it should rise. But with this one who knows based on past manipulation. The deal could come tomorrow or on June 30--nobody knows. But I will be very surprised if it does not come. The writing is on the wall.
No, I don't care to respond to you at all. I am not going to waste my time. This is A response to all of the people who spread such BS over the past few years about Implant Sciences, the competitors that tried to destroy the company, and the individuals that brought down the Yahoo message board so no one could get obtain true information on this company--in the end good rises above evil, and if the stars align as I and others think they will--we will soon have a powerhouse in the industry. And shareholders who have been so patient as Implant Sciences has overcome one obstacle after another--will be rewarded dearly.
TR--Mr. who thinks he knows it all, I too will bookmark this and be amused at how wrong you will be in the future. They may have hacked into the Yahoo message board and totally destroyed it, but the truth will prevail here. And despite what you wish and want to think, there is no stopping Implant Sciences now.
The claims on the drink are not just marketing. Studies have been done.

Excellent analysis, thank you very much.
And I have a strong feeling soon we will all be giving the company a standing ovation.
ISC has the best engineering talent including the person who invented ETD to begin with. And they have the best patents. Time will tell who is right.
Sure a competitor will come out with something equivalent before long. But do you realize how long it takes to get certification. Not to mention that but do you really think Implant Sciences engineers are standing still.
Exactly. And anyone who thinks the amount of debt Implant Sciences has matters to a company like L3 is crazy. It's a drop in the bucket for them.
So not true.
I would think L3 and Raytheon would want Implant Sciences that much more now given this transaction.
You ask where is the buying interest. Who knows about this small pink sheet stock. And how many people actually invest in pink sheet stocks. Not very many especially when the balance sheet looks this way at first blush.. This is a diamond in the rough. Nobody knows about it yet. That's been a problem for many years.
Once again your analysis is exceptional. And greatly appreciated. Thanks much.
It could be that the long time investors here are fully loaded up and have no more $ to put it. I already finished my dollar cost averaging.
DMRJ, granted with rates that were too high in my mind, has been partnered with Implant Sciences for many many years. Now that the light is at the end of the tunnel and the transaction is likely to take place soon, they probably wanted to do DMRJ the favor of staying partnered for the big event. If it weren't for DMRJ especially early on, this company never would've gotten to this point. I know the only thing that will shut these doubters up will be a major partnership or sale. I can't wait for that day, and strongly believe it is very soon in coming.
You raise a good point. However as we all know there are several people who have been trying to stick a knife in this company whenever possible. They won't be going anywhere until they finally realize they have failed and wasted a lot of time for nothing. They never thought the company would get all of the Certs let alone win TSA deals. Their ultimate failure will be when the company is sold for several hundred million dollars creating an industry powerhouse with the holy grail of detection. That will really hurt the competition.
The IMSC team has worked very hard to get where they are today. They will not sell for a low price. And a few hundred million is peanuts for a company like L3. Combine the two companies and 1+1=5. And how ironic it is that IMSC and L3's Detection Division are neighbors in the state of MA.
Yes--the only good thing about the fact the share price got so low again is the benefit of previous tax loss selling and then loading up at these low prices in anticipation of what is yet to come.
True--but as Buffalo said there is a right time to buy and in hindsight it is probably now. With their knowledge of progress and TSA final approval and delayed shipping due to protest I only wish I had been so smart as to wait until now to buy. In any case it is all water under the bridge at this point. What matters is what we see happen now. And news should be soon.
WRONG--they are not allowed to purchase shares during this Quiet Period. They have been advised of this by their Legal Team.
It lasted for about a minute. You are correct.
Unless something changes I believe the quiet period ends on 3/31.
I tried posting this in the Yahoo Board last week and it got deleted. I heard from the PR firm that they are still in a quiet period as they negotiate strategic alternatives/partnerships. We should hear about the debt and hopefully other news by the end of March.
Is there a way to show topics with all of the replies like on Yahoo, and if so how? Looking at one message at a time is a pain!
Or it's because Safran is desperate seeing how Morpho is losing deals around the World left and right to IMSC. They want to take the $ while they can. Same is true for Dell buying EMC. EMC will continue to lose in the future to All Flash companies like Pure Storage. Maybe they see the writing on the wall! By the way, so glad this message board is still good. The Yahoo Board turned to &%$&^.
