Trade- I would believe this if i could get shares at the bid, as you state. I have been unsuccesful at getting filled buying shares at the bid. If someone is getting shares at the bid they have an in with the MM's and the SEC might want to know of this!

All my stocks in the green today. A first in a long while. MM will gladly have you sell Maverick shares at the bid, but buying some at the bid or in between, little to none. Must buy near the ask. This tactic is positive for the stock and could mean a push to the upside.

Maverick was as high as .05 on the Ask yesterday.
Inching forward? Royaltyfree-DD
.035 X .045 eom.
Teomax- Nice painting! Enjoy your three(3)day weekend.

Teomax,
Some paintings are interesting and get others attention. So go ahead, paint us something nice!
Royaltyfree-DD
Company shares staying the same is a good sign. Not straped for cash and not diluting. All positive. Ask price also moved to .045 yesterday and bid to .033 for a short time. Inching forward, maybe?
Royaltyfree-DD
Maverick should be coming out with the goals for 2008.
With hopes to go to higher exchange, high on their to do list.
The other is to shop the company as O&G operators are in demand.
When I say shop I mean get more leases to work. Look maybe in Kansas or just sell the whole outfit for $2 a share and then go private. Just my 2 cents! Royaltyfree-DD
Trade- I just thought the same thing. What a laugher!!
Royaltyfree-DD
BMiles- Don't give up hope yet! The .04's are being hit at a steady rate. Our pay day is coming! Royaltyfree-DD
BMiles- I will get excited when the Ask hits .05. Then I think we get a big bounce and some new players. Royaltyfree-DD
Trade, nice to have you lead the board! You have a great communication record with Maverick. Keep it up!
Royaltyfree-DD
Merry Christmas To All!!!

Hey, Cramer's sector pick for 2008 is Natural Gas and Oil. He loves the companies in exploration and that do their own distribution and are growth stocks. Maverick is a growth stock and does both oil and gas. Glad that I have been buying on the dips. Make me wealthy Maverick!
Royaltyfree-DD
Good to see communications back. Now we need the PPS to communicate the same way. Royaltyfree-DD
Looks like Maverick is in good position to profit from the
rise in oil. Big money is looking at the energy sector and Jr. oil companies above a penny are of interest. I noticed our bid to ask range has tightend. This could be a positive sign of moving forward. Solid energy companies with a plan will blossom in this type of market.
I like Maverick going to the Monthly web news. We were wasting money on the PR's. I believe they were $600 to $1500 a release and without positive results. The monthly news will let us know the status of our investment with little to no cost. When the time is right national PR's will flow again.

Loss- On one note the price of oil is still high imo. Cash generated from operations is what it is. Percentage owned and paid operator gives you these values. Oh, to the skeptic it does cost money to run a business. Royaltyfree-DD
Hey Veritas- You forgot the added cash in the bank. From $59,292 to $127,403. Cheers! Royaltyfree-DD
Krash-IMO the Z2 option is in the rearview. It sounded good three to four months ago, but not now. This would only add more debt and or dilute our cash on hand if they decide to pay for it. I like the plan as of now. They're more plus's than minus's right now going on with this company. We really need to focus on more wells developed at Bigfoot and the W.Va. properties. Roytyfree-DD
Cash and accounts receivable increase shows Mavericks management doing things right. Company is in a stable position and should focus on the plan setforth. We should at this rate double our cash and receivable position again next quarter which would give us a strong Junior Oil and Gas status. As you can see if you stay hungry and not greedy you can still live a full life on the pinksheets. Stay focused Maverick. I believe!
Royaltyfree-DD
Loss- Mavericks name is not on any loan connected to Z2. Two different companies. The only cost that Maverick owns is cost to operate and Z2 pays Maverick for that plus giving Maverick a small stake in their findings at Bigfoot. Maverick owns 100% interest at W.V. No loans on the books. All clear?
Royaltyfree-DD
Loss- This answers all your questions about Maverick.
Description of Business
Z2 LLC (“Z2”) owns 100% of the Big Foot Oil Field (“Big Foot”) located in Frio and Atascosa Counties in West Texas. Big Foot was originally developed by Royal Dutch Shell which sold the property in 1992. Big Foot has approximately 300 production wells, of which about 240 are presently revenue producing. According to Z2's most recent engineering report (dated January 1, 2006), the estimated future net revenue from the Big Foot currently producing properties may be in excess of $38,000,000. In addition, the estimated future net revenue from the 200 Proved Undeveloped Properties (PUDs) yet to be drilled may be in excess of $353,000,000. The President of Maverick, Richard J. Bednar, also serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Z2.
Maverick currently has an 11.517% ownership interest in Z2, and holds an option to acquire an additional 13.184% membership interest in Z2 for an exercise price of $1,000,000 (which may be exercised at any time through July 17, 2007). In the event the Company exercises this purchase option, Maverick’s ownership interest in Z2 would increase to 24.7%.
Maverick is the paid operator of Big Foot for Z2. In addition, Maverick is also the part owner and operator of several producing natural gas wells, and owns approximately 50 natural gas leases in West Virginia.
As I stated in the past the option is just a good faith bonus if it happens. It does not diminish what Maverick does which is pull oil and gas from the ground at a fast rate. I like no debt and cash flow even at a slow rate than trying to repay debt through other means to obtain a little more cash. W.V. looks good and is profitable with gas and soon oil. Steady As She Go's! Royaltyfree-DD
Loss- Call Maverick for all your questions. They will un-cloud any doubts you have! Royaltyfree-DD
Loss- Try putting in orders of 5000, 10000, 20000 & 50000.
I've used these increments and have had success in purchasing this stock at or around the bid price.
Royaltyfree-DD
So glad we finally all come to the same conclusion that Maverick is a wise choice. Royatyfree-DD
Loss- I think you are turning the corner. All valid questions and points. It's now in the hands of Maverick managers and Z2 for the future. Buy some now and hold on for the ride.
Royaltyfree-DD
Loss- I already stated in my past post that Maverick and Z2 where one in the same. It's just that one is getting paid to operate Bigfoot to increase shareholder value and the other brings in the money to pay Maverick(For the sharholders). Maverick is operating debt free and only payout operating cost and salaries, ect. The option is a good faith bonus to the company and share holders. If it does not happen now the structure of the company does not change, we just lose out on the oil per barrel value since we would still own a small percentage of Bigfoot. Bednar will not go into debt or dilute share value just get the option. Remember he has interest in both companies and the way one goes so does the other. With oil and gas being such a hot topic, just sit back and watch how things turn out.
Royaltyfree-DD
Getting some positive action, up-tick. With unleaded at a record high it won't take much to move us higher.
Royaltyfree-DD
Round and round we go! Maverick still has the goods to deliver, Loss. Just check the PR's. Royaltyfree-DD
I love it when bashers show up preaching doom and gloom like they're doing everyone a favor. I will take a transparent company like Maverick and all its PR's even if it doesn't move the pps right away, like most bashers think it should. Maverick is a fine growth stock with potential. Can't say that for 98% of the pinksheet stocks that most bashers own. Give up the ghost and bash the stinkies you own.
Royaltyfree-DD
Hubble- Everyone knows Richard Bednar has the option in his sight. IMO I believe they are putting the paper work together for the option. Richard Bednar is Z2 & Maverick and Maverick makes money for Z2. Why would you bite the hand that feeds you when you are producing so much oil and gas? A merger of the two is also possible which would keep things all in the family. Such a sweet deal!
Royaltyfree-DD
Great news after the bell! Nice to see a pinksheet growth stock come through with production, not hype. Oil and gas revenue at Frio, nice! Happy I bought more shares a few sessions ago at .042. Setting up nicely for a run. Tomorrow could be interesting. Royaltyfree-DD
Loss- Have you called Bednar yet? All your questions could be answered in one full swoop! Please call tomorrow.
Royaltyfree-DD
No fills at that price yet. Just sits there.
Royaltyfree-DD
Yup,Brad! But still holding. Royaltyfree-DD
Great PR! Now I/R needs to do their job by promoting the news to the investment public. Most pinksheet players only want to play sub-penny stocks for flips. We need to get value investors involved for this stock. Tony Drake now it's your time! Do your thing. Royaltyfree-DD
Loss- Z3 is a type-o and should be corrected. Some assume most can read through the lines, but not me. What is written, is what is written. About the wells Maverick has mostly SEC REC)-Secondary Recovery (Waterflood) wells at Bigfoot which means we will rework these existing wells with todays technology. The wells have been tested for positive recovery. Many small O&G companies go this route because the major work to these wells are already completed.
BMiles- Thanks for comfirming my point to Loss on the reason why Shell abandoned the profitable fields. Post #3984.
Loss- New horizontal drilling techniques are the real key here for Maverick. You have old wells that have low capacity because of old techniques. IMO Shell abandoned the fields because it was much work to produce oil on land at shallow depths drilling several wells. They got all they wanted at the surface then moved on. More to be gained from oil at deep depths at sea for the same cost and labor. These wells still have oil on top, down deep and sideways (horizontal drilling) . We have the capability and know how to get the oil. http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/070305/0222725.html
With all the wells(303)in Mavericks hands one large producing well can send us through the roof. I am willing to wait and see.
Royaltyfree-DD
Did some value searching and found that South Texas Oil Co.(STXX)is in the Bigfoot area and the stock went from low pennys to over nine dollars in one year. How could a little known company do this? Number one reason is PR. This was noted on Yahoo and RB message boards that this attributed to the monster gains in a short time period. If you look at their business model we have more wells than they do and are at, about the same pace on producing wells. I believe we are in a perfect buyout situation here, but we need better PR to let others know of our value. Royaltyfree-DD
