Lowman, yes each move up is larger and larger... the penny or $ move.... but consider the % move. The current move .20 to .30 = 50%, it is the same as the .10 -.15 move. That's what is so nice about up a stock that is on the move with such potential. Kind of like compounding!!
But like you, I would like to see the consolidation patterm continue at certain steps say .30, .35 and then see what .40 brings, .40 IMO will be the next big chart indicator for HEMI...cup and pattern then a blast thru or just a pure blast thru.
Also the golden cross it right around the corner and it's February..... so much to consider..... gotta admit its nice to have some skin in this game then to be sitting on the sidelines hoping and praying for that an entry level.
If this goes to $3 in a year, grit I will have.... I will be there with my long term holdings of HMGP.
This type of play with a "penny" maybe far and few apart but to have the foundation and potential that HEMI offers as a long term hold may be a once in a life time opportunity for many who are already onboard!!!
And IMO it is not to late for others to join
Kels
True...I give him credit for coming back and taking it. But.........17??? Unless there is a major change in the HEMI fundalmentals business model or chart patterns...I just do not see .17 in the current cards.
Kels
Allspice......give it up already..
I am standing by my cup & handle prediction ~.40. You may then see a pullback....but it will be healthy for the progess of the SP for HEMI.
Man....you should have bought during the .185-.20 churn.
Kels
Wow- just got back from a meeting.....yup as I said yesterday the next step upward is underway and.....we are in the .25 -.27 range.........would like to see some churning now before heading to >.30
Kels
It is looking good, end of March, it would be nice to be at least through what I anticipate to be a cup and handle set up ~.40 and "no joke" be on the north side of .40 by April 1, 2007.
The hard decision will be does one play a classic chart pattern strategy if a cup and handle does develop around .40 as an opportunity to re-load. As I have stated I have a portion of my current position ready for this play.
However, alot may still unfold between now and .40 that could keep the staircase moving on up to ???
Kels
Air Traffic Control to Lowman......radar is picking up alot of HEMI UFO's.
You have done a great job monitoring this board and keeping the discussion constructive.
But word is getting....radar screen is filling up.....maybe time to intensify the scanning process....Air Traffic control out
I couldn't resist....HEMI is showing up on alot of message boards today......I guess time is coming when this board may start to get cluttered
Keep up the work.
Kels
I agree 100% with the go up then churn....go up churn. But as the price increases the delta % piece becomes a better measuring stick for each step up move.
Also I have a gut feeling... a little voice (February is almost here).....that a news event will unfold soon that will give the upcoming steps some additional upward momentum.
Either way we are in an uptrend...no question this is a fact....... that has been well controlled by fundamentals of O/G industry, chart patterns of HMGP and just good common sense business practice by the HEMI management team.
Kels
Lowman...do we need another breather or are we good to go on further??
My 2 cents is that we start another churn ~.25-.27 area.......then another step up to move above .30:))
What is nice about these moves is that the % piece becomes smaller penny for penny, so hopefully same % step moves = greater actual penny ($) move.
Kels
Nice find....if it pains........ out this will be my stock of the year!!!
My excitement just got the best of me with my prior spelling!!!
I was just going to say......... oh no....... the bid is back down to .20 maybe..... just maybe...... Allspice is on to something.....
But then in a blink of an eye lokk what just happened .225/.23..........do say anymore???
The story continues!!!!!!!!!!
Kels
Hey Allspice / Robo ,whoever you are, I was wondering if you would be back. You proved me wrong.
If you are so sure of a pullback then short HMGP...better now than @.20. And then when you purchase @ .15 you can get even more shares for your money.....
Sounds like a dream I mean plan to me!!!
Based on his posts....................yup...... it is a fair statement to say that he was wrong and I highly doubt that he will be back to admit it.
Probably will be back under a new alias to tout how great HMGP is!!
Kels
Yup you may say that he has the hammer and the nails to build the next step up!!
Kels
Yes the next step up the staircase begins.
Oh where or where is Robo??? Double-top my_ _ _.
Kels
Robo-
My reply to your private e-mail so this can be shared with the board.
A short term call / outcome......... possibly tomorrow regarding your double top projection or my next step up the staircase..........just luv Zepplin -Staircase to Heaven!!!
If tomorrow unfolds similiar as last Friday 01/19/07, will you take your double top theory to another board and just buy in or back into HMGP before we hear your next double top prediction in the .23-.25 area?
Kels
This action is very much the action that occurred (last week) 01/16/07 to 01/19/07 (last Friday) 0.16 to the first hit @ 0.20.
So what does this Friday (tomorrow) bring?
Kels
You are truly a piece of work but I give you credit for trying to get some buy on to drop this too the mid-teens.
Look at 01/10/07 -01/16/07....0.16 double top (oh-no).....whoops it went to .20!!!!
Now .20 double top (oh-no)....whoops it went to ?
Kels
Just taking a breather before the next step up on this rising multi-staircase!!
Kels
Agree, but when we get there I will frame on my wall a HMGP share certificate with one of Jackie Gleasons' great lines right underneath it "Oh how sweet it is"!!!
Kels
Lowman, credit you all the others for the infomative posts on the HMGP board. The constructive discussions and insights are refreshing and contain some excellent dialog and information about HMGP, its market place, operations, and future potential.
To me a short term cup and handle is very hard to work in your favor for any +....$.... trading. Within this current uptrend of HMGP there may be short term cup and handle patterns however I look at the recent 6 week pattern as an uptrending staircase and rather dangerous to attempt any in and out trading if one belives that a future higher SP is going to occur, which many on this board believe, as do I.
HMGP has demonstrated a pattern over the past 6 weeks that all moves up have produce very little give back in SP and very few shares available to purchase at a lower SP. Interestingly each step up for HMGP has been backed by a PR (recently the Sabine news),followed by very little give back in the SP, followed by the next step (PR) (up the staircase) . Just imagine what the step may be if the next PR is a positive validation of recent or expect production!!!!
Therefore my strategy remains to wait for an actual cup to form, which in my opinion will be ~.40. Then step back and see if the short term shares (not my long term shares) I have in HMGP would be worth a trade (out and then back in using short term shares only) and ride the handle for an expected correction and re-purchase before the next big breakout to the upside.
When the strategy works, and I have been successful using this strategy with other pennies and small caps (I have also taken my licks), its a great vehicle to increase overall shares in time with a stock that is experiencing an overall long term upside pattern.

First hello HEMI holders. I have been reading the HEMI board since my HEMI entry in Dec 06. For the record, my position is 125k shares, 75k long term and 50k for any short term moves if needed. Average cost .093.
I have enjoyed the information provide by all posts to date; it is clear that much of this information has been in the best interest of the HEMI holders to utilize as part of any position analysis.
The cup and handle pattern discussion I find most interesting. There have been good views posted on this board to date about this as well. However looking at the HEMI chart, IMO, it appears the cup is still forming the nice U curve needed. It start back in June-July 2006 peaking ~.40 and then bottom back in Sept -Oct 2006 ~.02 and would not be completed according the cup and handle definition until HEMI hits the .40 area again, then a nice handle could start to form. In the meantime the current recent action to me appears to be a nice upward step by step pattern (staircase).
I agree that one throws out the pink book on this one, and my overall strategy is to play HEMI as a long term investment combined with a smaller position to play any short term trends as a basis to potentially increase my over all holdings.
