great work fox,
You guys are good!
friend,
I agree with the assumption that Sickle cell is seen as just another problem. The only way it'll get recognition is if someone of notoriety namely Bush, U2, Oprah personally know someone affected and feel the pain so to speak. I hate to say it this way but ……it needs more volume! Hard strong volume that hits home! Let it affect a family member or close friend and we’ll see visibility.
Peace.
Great job!
I'll throw in the link as well.

Just recent news to ponder!
S.C. blood supply critically low
Situation means hospitals’ needs might not be met

Alexandra Taylor, 6, of Hopkins, eats lunch while receiving her monthly blood transfusion to treat sickle cell anemia at Palmetto Health Richland’s Children’s Hospital. The Red Cross is in need of donations and down to emergency levels for some blood types.Blood transfusions are a fact of life for many young patients who have sickle cell disease, cancer and other conditions. Nine-year-old Nicholas Hampton, who has sickle cell, had blood transfusions about every three weeks for six months when he was 4. He also has had an exchange transfusion, which involved removing his blood while infusing his vessels with new blood.
That type of transfusion is given to children with sickle cell who are at high risk of having a stroke, or who have had a stroke.
“For those situations, we need to be sure that the blood supply is kept up,” said Dr. Carla Roberts of Palmetto Health’s Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders.
But critically low blood supply levels at the Red Cross could mean there’s not enough to fill hospital needs.
The South Carolina Red Cross reports it has a one-day supply in stock for most blood types; a three-day supply is considered safe.
The Red Cross has had to ration blood to hospitals, giving less than one-third of the amount requested in some cases, spokeswoman Rhonda O’Banion said.
O positive, O negative and B negative donors are urgently needed, but people of all blood types are encouraged to give.
The thought of not having blood available if her child should need a transfusion scares Nikki Johnson, Nicholas’ mother.
“For children, you want the very best immediately,” she said. “You don’t want to put their health on hold.”

UPDA Subsidiaries bring more wells online
Universal Property Development and Acquisition Corporation’s production subsidiaries, Canyon Creek Oil and Gas, Inc. and Catlin Oil and Gas Inc., approach this year-end having returned 40 wells to production and generating nearly 300 BOE per day. During the first quarter of 2007, it is anticipated that an additional 70 wells will be worked over and brought online by these subsidiaries, resulting in a corresponding increase in oil and gas production. The Board of Directors of UPDA will soon release a comprehensive year-end report, further detailing the accomplishments of the present year and UPDA’s plans for future growth.
Thanks for the responce 4tj.
Looks like the board takes his word. We'll see.

Thanks for the post. I think UPDA is not only on the right track but will eventually push to the front. Looking at the price right now you wouldnt know it but thats what I'm counting on until I'm filled. UPDA gets stronger by the day and I'm amazed at the progress! day traders paint another story, but time will tell!
Question?
Does anyone here have an idea how many units are currently being sold? I'm not asking for exact numbers just general.
Has the Company put out such info?
Thanks
Thanks svechio,
Now, how does he play into xkem again?
Thanks for the info.

Sure would be nice to have some scoop but I can understand why you wouldn't share the information. Dont blame ya

I'm not sure why but I get the feeling If I were to post something to effect that Nigeria was just blown off the face of the earth and even provide a link to it,I would still see the same rambling going on about who said what and why they're the credible one. Why do I say this?
I just posted something I think may answer some of the delay issues and it just went by as if I were saying hello.
I'm new to the board but I have to be honest and say I've learned a lot since Friday.
Good luck to all, I'm sure we're on the right team!
putting all arguments aside for a bit, this situation is definately a problem for the factory and us shreholders. Someone's gotta put the foundation and walls up............Who?
Peace.
Lots of things going on in Nigeria!
