O.K. As of this moment heres my take.
FWIW= I believe that Magnetic Levitation Propulsion is the way of the future for moving people and goods on a large scale, quickly, quietly, cheaply and polutant free. As precursed although primitivly by hybrid vehicles on a smaller scale that we see so prevelent today. i.e. we need alternative transport methods.
Whether or not this is the company to do so, who knows?
Whether I'll live long enough to see it in my lifetime, who knows?
What I do know is that I passed on a penny stock a year or so back that was run by a group out of MIT that did quite well... (without me).
And these guys seem to have a leg up and grasp of how to do it...
Anyway I've got a little more investigating to do. (quite sophomoric I'm sure by standards of true DD'rs here).
But by months end I'm pretty sure that my money will be on the MIT boys...
Velvet
Thanks for your kind response... Really.
I have been in this stock since 9/2005 and havn't sold a share and have a lot by my standards...
But since I am on self detention here I just can't respond to anything anymore until my attitude adjusts,
Aloha, Jed...
Velvet, thanks for answering:
And I realize that you and Sam are very busy men, so with him returning to his office on july 4 we'll have that whole celebratation thing to deal with , then nobody will be able to communicate until the following Monday, and then with waiting for return phonecalls and all it should be around July 14 that you actually hear from Sam; o.k I get that.
No wait a minute the 14th is a Saturday, so then it's wait again until Monday, a time to reconnect, wait for returning phone calls by say july 20 (again a Friday my favorite).
Then maybe the following Monday or Tuesday we'll get some actual feedback, now it's July 24 & your last real conversation was June 14 and Sam is off to Russia with some promise of great news to follow...And around and around we go..Circling the drain along with the pps!
Don't worry I'll just put myself on detention.
I don't need to hear from some guy who's been in this for less than 6 months to tell me If I can't take it to get out... That aint happenen! Been in it too long...
I've paid: I'm allowed to vent & I want to hear from the man...That's all...
NOTHING!!??
Nobody has anything to say??
O.K. then lets go to post #10204,
V Mallet has been playing "phone tag" with Sam since Thursday June 14th, and still nothing. What does that mean?
TAG we're it??
Bout what I thought, thanks...
Sorry to have to ask this...
But I'm old: This product is sold in a 50 ML pouch. Could somebody please compute. Is that 1 ounce, 1 1/2 ounces, 2 ounces?? For us ML challenged, how much nectar do these pouches hold in ounces???
Brother, I meant no disrespect.
I for one would love to hear/read your professional interpretation of a one on one with Sam...
CASH - just a suggestion
But how about putting lazyeye on iggy (since he seems to be a fly in your soup). Call Sam, and with your backround and epertise give us a report from a CPA's point of view of the facts... You seem to be qualified, so do it, God knows we need it...
I'm watching this one very closely... I think you folks just might have something here.
Nothing from anybody??!! O.K.
Lets try another tack...(Like I said before, I like Friday closes).
If we trade another 10 mil shares by Friday and the price stays down... what? Just the market?
Or shares coming from somewhere and somebody (not us) making $$$$$$?
Once again just looking for conversation, somebody talk to me...
Just got home & took a look...
Thought for sure we would close around or above .006 today.
What happened? We got the volume, we got the momo, then puff.
MM's jump in at the end, what?
& not much conversation here, so:.... Any ideas?
Dude..."Join the club".
But seriously Your posts sound intelligent.
I tink you'll fit right in. Might even make a buck or two......... if you can stick it out...
I really like it when...
STRAT closes on Friday, up.
exactly.
eik might have something here...
I'm a pretty simple guy, but he's right, as long as we can count STRAT's shares in millions we're gonna be ok...
But if we show up one day with 3 billion shares needed for this or that, then Sam will have had his head handed to him by the weenie guy, and this baby goes on the shelf.
SCOREBOARD... The final act may be in play. And the truth is on it's way. Since Sam is not yet ready to talk to his shareholders (investors), and Frank T. Hall is playing the part of Gordon Gecko. Something telling really is going to happen soon. And for all our sakes, I'm still betting Sammy has something up his sleeve and is using JMCP instead of the other way around...
And so I finally agree with Walker.. It's coming.. and sooner rather than later...
P.C..... Gotcha...
With that considered I guess what you were all reading were my numbers and mindset, as the dates so mirrored mine.
But the frustration level is prevelent throughout, trust me..
Nobody else runs a successful company this way, (no dialogue with shareholders).
But a new plan? More shares because of JMCP?
Two portable trucks arriving in Russia to save the day?
All we are left with right now is our imaginations to run wild.
How can that be good?
....better go now...
Mallet,
It's frustration brother and we all feel it.
After reading your responce to Aggie I checked out his "born on date". June '05, which is about the time I bought in. So I can only imagine that the thousands of dollars he has invested in STRAT were mostly in the .15c and above range which would put his losses at about 95%+ even with averaging down as it keeps falling he's probably still neg 75-80% (JMHO).
Durring these days of 1/2 cent pps and dropping, these feelings of frustration are going to surface. Have patience with us brother.
STRAT NEWS FLASH SIGN UP...
For about the 5th or 6th time in the past two years, just tried to sign up for the News Flash segment on STRAT's website. Still having a little trouble with that. But I'm sure we're just around the corner from having that and all other communication difficulties with management corrected... Right?
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Frank T. Love, The "big dog" at JMCP is the guy from Killeen Texas.
And here is part of what he had to say as part of the JMCP PR as provided by M2 on ....05/22/07
James Monroe Capital Corporation is a publicly traded holding company (symbol JMCP) that focuses on acquisitions, start-ups and oil ventures around the globe. The company solicits purchase contracts in the oil sector for stable income to build shareholder value. These efforts are "opportunistic and time-sensitive deals" often involving distressed situations where other parties have something very valuable they are about to lose entirely or economicly <(their spelling) not practical for larger companies. These are the type of acqusitions<(again their spelling) or buyouts JMCP will soon be announcing to it's shareholders.
C'mon you guys, check out Frank T. Love from Killeen Texas and tell me if he is the guy running the show over at JMCP and how that sits with you.
Here's a starter kit: Yea it could be the wrong guy from Killeen,(and my sincerest apologies if it is) I'm a lightweight at real DD. But it just doesn't pass the smell test with me and I don't like it...
I mean who's next, J. Paul Reddam?
http://www.ssb.state.tx.us/Enforcement/files/1593.pdf
Frank Love?
Just wondering if any of our more senior DDr's out there could give us a little history about our new savior Mr. Frank T. Love. Head Mojo over at James Monroe Capital Corp. (JMCP)
Seems to be a rather interesting, & well travelled individual...
Worst part of that PR.
Click on the link.
Then click the Company Info tab and scroll down to the EDGAR FILING STATUS.
Late Night Venting Here...
Just got home from a very long day at work and I read where there was a financial/funding deal for STRAT in the amount of a Million Dollars or so... I see the sales volume shot up to about Ten Million shares traded and our pps went in the tank ,about 25%.
Quite a day, but I gotta go to bed.
Can't wait to hear about the silver lining surrounding this mushroom cloud by morning, you guys are the best.
It's late and I'm frustrated, so how bout some truth with some teeth in it for a change...Or do we have to wait for the holidays to end and Sam to come home from abroad (like last month and the month before) etc. And then we'll have some real news. If and/or when he can find the time, he's a busy CEO Y'know............. (ever heard of delegating)?
Or just ban me for being negative and let me put this thing on a shelf.
great.
I'm in the exact same situation.
Starting at 15c. With what my initial investment was way back then (and subsequent buyins). I can't afford not to add at these prices... Got to bring that average down!!!
'My pps was through the roof and if you still believe, then now is the time"
(actually got thrown off another board for saying that)
then add and add some more to bring your average down to where a lot of these newer guys are to reap huge benifits down the road... Yea it's gonna be a bumpy road and in my opinion a longer road than many in here feel. But Buy and hold - Buy and hold, use it like a savings account.. It will frustrate you to no end. BUT it will pay...Long & Strong...
No worries.
I've cleaned my shorts, my levi's and my desk chair & all is good.
Sorry guys, just went into panic mode... Somebody please straighten this rookie out....
On or about 4-04-07 I asked about the number of outstanding shares for STRAT and received the following.
Walker... Post # 9220 ............237M O/S
Lazyeye.. Post # 9217 ............237M O/S
V.Mallet. Post # 9229 ............237M O/S
Is there any validity to the "15 billion o/s" you just mentioned in post # 9380.
Did I miss the joke? God I hope so...
Good on ya mate...
She'll pay once she blows...
Finally! Thank you V Mallet for coming down to my level and giving me what I was looking for.. I needed it. 3500 shareholders in a venture of this possible magnitude is still really a very small group. Now I have a better understanding and maintain a strong feeling I was right two years ago when I started this quest. I do however think we're a long ways away from the big score... But we are the foundation... And that my friends is the strongest point of ANY structure...
We are the foundation...
That's great guys. It's always nice to know how many shares each of us holds. But unfortunately at least from my side the more you hold and the less you paid " you aint paid your dues yet" and hopefully for all of us you won't have to. But that's not the question..
How many of us are there?
How many shareholders?
Dam.. Good for you...
I'm talking scary as to how few of us there really are if we're a band of 300 or so and this thing takes off. Even if I started off at .13 and am still at under 1/2 m shares we're gonna hold a big chunk.... Adding Friday.
And better yet if the number of shareholders is really as low as I think I have heard, which is a scary 350 or so.
Can that be close?
250 million outstanding shares...
I've heard 250 to 350m, not a whole lot considering.
And I think I've heard (read) only about 350 shareholders!!??
Does any body out there have the true count on those two items?
Interesting reading.
Any significant Patent infringement potential occurring in the Abstract of Invention segment that could help/hurt STRAT?
Sorry guys - but (IMHO) this isn't going to happen B4 or just after Passover. It's not going to happen in the next few weeks or months for that matter. Sorry Walker, but every time it jumps .002c it's not the next coming.. Tidings from Sam or not.. I only wish it was..
Even Haliburtin and Bechtel together couldn"t build the infrastructure needed in the next year to deliver what I've heard expoused here. We're years away guys not months, weeks or days.. YEARS. The weekly to monthly fluctuations that will occur in the near future (once again IMHO) will be MM controlled, as is the nature of the pinky..Not a solid bottom and here we go!..(still - chances to make money)..
BUT, "be cautious while others are being greedy and be greedy while others are being cautious".
Sub penny, in a stock we believe this strongly in, Jeez jump in at every opportunity you have, add and add some more at the lows.. bring your averages down (how can you afford not to at these prices if you've been in as long as I have) use it like a savings account. I figure in about 5 more years when I'm 86 yrs. old, heck I'll be able to buy me and granny an old cabin in the hills and retire........Just not this year.
1st purchase...Early Aug. 2005 @ 15c
Total Shares.. Under 1M
Current pps 5.3c
Target 1M Shares
I have time..
I won't be able to add any shares until Thurs. April 5.
Lets guess as to what the price might be on that day.
And should I wait until Fri. the next day as there usually seems to be a bit of a weekly correction then...
My average is also at .5c and took some averaging down to get there. And I won't have the funds to add for at least 2 more months... Interesting spot to be in right now. Is it gonna go now and I won't have to worry, or are the MM's in control and it will be back right here come then...
You know what?? It doesn't matter. When I have the funds to add I'll add. It's like a savings account, only better. It might spike and you take a little. It might go sub penny and you add when you can... But relax - we're gonna be here a while...
The following is an article I found in the newspaper "The Daily News"(business section) in SoCal dated 03/15/2007.
To be honest I really don't know the relevance to our situation, I'll leave that to our very qualified, heavy DD'rs here to elaborate...
[CHEVRON INVESTS IN RUSSION OIL COMPANY
San Ramon - based Chevron Corp. is investing about $1 billion in Russian oil company OAO Gazprom Neft, Deputy Energy Secretary Clay Sell told reporters in Moscow on Wednesday.
Sell declined to say more about the nature of the investment, leaving the details of the deal unclear.
Representatives of the companies, which agreed to form a joint venture for upstream projects earlier this year, declined to comment, saying they were seeking clarification.
"Chevron's billion dollar scale investment in Gazprom Neft over the last few months is a positive development" Neft said.
Chevron has taken a 70 percent stake in a new joint venture with Gazprom Neft. The venture, OOO Severnaya Tayga Neftegaz, has only recently been regestered as a legal entity.

So how 'bout it guys... Sorry if it's a reprint.
I need my order for 35,000 shares to be filled @ .014
