quote: "Vancouver, B.C. – August 17, 2006 - Dajin Resources Corp. (“Dajin”) (TSX-V: DJI) is pleased to report the results of its recently completed soil sampling program at its 100% owned zinc/lead Oxide Property located 15 km southeast of Nelson, B.C. and 50 km northeast of the zinc/lead smelter located at Trail, B.C. The sampling program focused on a sparsely sampled region located between sampling programs previously conducted by Cominco in the 1990’s and the New Jersey Zinc Exploration Company (Canada) Limited in the 1980’s.
The program has identified a wedge shaped zone of highly anomalous and consistent zinc soil geochemistry. In total 101 samples were collected on five (5) lines, 200 meters apart, with the average of all samples returning a remarkable 2020 ppm zinc with peak ranges up to 6,696 ppm and lead ranges up to 3,653 ppm. The area where zinc is in excess of the 1000 ppm threshold is more than 950 metres long and open to both the northwest and to the southeast. At the northwestern end of the sample grid the anomalous zone is over 100 metres wide. The anomaly broadens to the southeast and on most lines is between 250 metres and 425 metres in width. Float of zinc/lead oxide and galena mineralization is common in the soil samples near the northeastern edge of the grid. Boulders of high grade zinc oxide float are also common in the central part of the geochemical sampling grid where selected samples have returned assays up to 44% zinc..."
result of further work should be available soon (imo: early 2007)
Dajin is also part of the spanish mountain group in BC (gold)
One of my major investments; DD, please.
