Looks like ~30,000 share buy went through at ~2.80!!
Not sure if we like you better sober or in a stupor
John11 just gave the answer - brokerages won't accept UNRESTRICTED certs until BORK files the paperwork to remove the CE, which they are in the process of preparing.
Let's give it a rest and wait for the company to file - nothing else can be done.
Correct me if I'm wrong, John11, but the stumbling block is the GPGI "non-financials" that they inherited in the merger. GPGI didn't do financials and it isn't easy to go back and regenerate them.
MM's just dropped it from $4.13 to $4.00 with only a few thousand shares sold.
Very readable and logical post, Doug. I agree with your conclusion.
Alvie
Maybe because your "all-Caps" typing is so hard to read that noone bothered reading..............
I don't do Facebook, but from Post 2975:
"what is the NIJ cert and it's significance?
From Bourque Ind. - The National Institute of Justice certification for our armor will allow us to sell to law enforcement. We've already proven that we exceed the highest standard, NIJ-06, in official testing. But a technicality lead us to have to refile our paperwork."
I believe that whomover responded for Bourque could have clarified their answer by saying: "...But a technicality lead us to have to refile our paperwork, which we did on June 6."
Regarding the ongoing discussion of outstanding shares, see the earlier post:

What is the confusion about TOS? {Total Outstanding Shares}
According FINRA Operations, both Bourque and the transfer agent, American Registar and Transfer Co (UT) independently filed that there are 29,744,490 total shares outstanding. You either believe what BORK reports, or you think the company is a fraud. However, there is no shell game with shares.... TOS is a matter of public record.
Also, if BORK wants to take some of that authorized capital and issue shares to raise funds, they must register them before they do it. This can only be done by public filings/ notice.
Get off your butts and verify @ PH: 240-386-6171 Contact Elik (FINRA Ops Mgr). Or if you don't trust the PH I provided, get the number off the official FINRA site www.OTCBB.com, and work your way through the Department maze to get to Elik, and then he'll verify the record.
Good luck to all Bork Longs!
If you've never heard of it, where did you hear about it?
Call the company and ask them how many shares are O/S.

Recall that in the June 6 PR from Bourque, the testing was done in a NIJ certified facility and submitted to NIJ for NIJ06 certification:
TUCSON, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Bourque Industries (OTC:BORK.ob - News) announced today that it submitted its application to the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) for its NIJ-06 ballistic armor certification. Bourque Industries' Kryron Terminator armor has already met and exceeded the NIJ-06 specification in many demonstrations and in NIJ-compliant testing at Chesapeake Testing.
Tests have been completed and results submitted to Justice. Waiting on response.
All of the nanotube patents (ex Bourque) that I have seen use carbon nanotubes with fibers, resins and plastics. Has anyone seen other patents using nanotubes with metals such as the Bourque patents?
Vast improvement in the new website. They need to deactivate the old site:

Nice moniker, Ron!
Thanks, John. It will be good to get that resolved.
Any other news brewing? Take care of yourself!

I don't have any problem with tough questions, either, but when they keep getting asked over and over when it's obvious there is not an answer, then it gets rather monotonous.
db - You've been beating this dead horse forever when you know that there is not an answer to your question. Contrary to what you have claimed, methinks you're beginning to sound like a basher. Give it a rest. If you can't live with uncertainty regarding a non-reporting startup company, find another stock to invest it where all the information is public. JMHO
Will 10 cents above do? Hope it holds or goes higher
A search of the European Patent Office documents revealed the following 4 references. Here is the link. You can check off the John Bourque patents and it will bring them up as a pdf file. I have not been successful in copying anything more than the first page with the referenced patents.

20100117252 SOLID COMPOSITION HAVING ENHANCED PHYSICAL AND ELECTRICAL PROPERTIES - A method of making a treating wash includes mixing brass granules with acetone, mixing carbon nanotube material, silver granules, iron pyrite granules and copper granules in the acetone brass mixture, and straining the liquid from the remaining solid material. Methods of treating materials such as brass granules, silver granules, iron pyrite granules, carbon nanotube material, and brass granules comprises washing the materials in the treating wash, followed by straining and drying the materials. 05-13-2010
20110107905 BALLISTIC STRIKE PLATE AND ASSEMBLY - A ballistic strike plate assembly comprises a first plate formed from aluminum alloy and having a first surface and a second surface. A titanium plate is has a first surface and a second surface. A sheet of ballistic gap foam is adhered to the first surface of the first plate and the first surface of the titanium plate. A multilayer ballistic fabric plate is adhered to the second surface of the titanium plate. A first sheet of ballistic wrap is disposed over the multilayer ballistic fabric plate, and has edges extending beyond edges of the multilayer ballistic fabric plate that are folded over the edges of the multilayer ballistic fabric plate. A second smaller sheet of ballistic wrap is adhered to the portion of the second surface of the first plate not covered by the folded over edges of the first sheet of ballistic wrap. 05-12-2011

Looks like Riley uses epoxy or urethane resins with the carbon nanotubes, or ceramic fibers. No mention of metals used in the helmets or armor. It's possible (probable?) that the Kryron performs substantially better than the nanotube/ceramic/plastic composites.

If you were offering to fund the company with a significant amount of money, say $1MM+, you would probably get answers to your questions. I don't think the company is interested in providing all those answers to every Tom, Dick and Harry who is considering buying 100 shares of their stock. Thety have more important things to do with their time. JMHO.
Alvie
John, I don't understand which nail Bob hit. His interpretation is the opposite of Rock's. Were the 150MM shares given to JBIT reverse split to only 30 MM shares?
Alvie
Bob, while you were answering Goldrush, Rock posted just the opposite conclusion to the question of outstanding shares. It would seem that Rock would be the more informed because he was an actual GPGI shareholder when all was voted upon with Bourque assuming GPGI.
Alvie
John, there still seems to be confusion about the outstanding shares of BORK. Maybe you can clear this up (at least for me.)
The preferred shares are 5,000,000 authorized but not issued, if I understood your previous post correctly.
What about the ordinary shares. How many are authorized and how many issued, if you know that?
Thanks, and have a great trip - you deserve the time away! Maybe we'll meet at another shareholder meeting in AZ like we did in the mid-90's.
Alvie
With a price to earnings (P/E) ratio of 20:1, the $5 earnings would translate to a stock price of $100 (assuming no more stock issued).
Is Chesapeake Testing an NIJ certified test faciity such that Bourque can submit their results to the NIJ and not have to undergo additional testing, only have NIJ review the Chesapeake results?
Fasten your seat belts and hang on to enjoy the ride!!!!
and has been paying a dividend of 18% ($1.40/Q with the share price at about $30.5). Earnings have been going down, though, and it is uncertain if they can continue to pay that high a dividend. JMHO
Alvie
Thanks for the article, Bowser. Sounds positive with a bit of uncertainty thrown in. Hope Bourque has worked out the scaleup problems.

I held more than 100k shares of GPGI that was converted automatically through my broker in March with no restrictions. There may be some with "restricted" stock but I am not aware of any restrictions on the commonly traded GPGI stock that converted to BORK at the 5:1 reverse split.

Your post was too revealing, FC. Would have been better to have sent it as a private email.

Pre-market bid $2.95, ask $3.15. Haven't seen this high a bid pre-market - yesterday closing was $2.75.
